The Songwriters is here!
The plot of The Anonymous Storyteller features a song written by characters in the book…but the original song was written by me and my daughter. You can listen to the “Concert Version” above, which is professionally produced by Ben Parker Jr. with beautiful vocals by Karis Taylor. That version is available on most music streaming services as well, and on YouTube here. You can also listen to the original “Basement Version” below, which is a rough recording of me and my daughter.
And an update on the release of the book…
The bad news is that the release has been delayed until January 2027. The good news is the delay is because a large publisher (Union Square & Co, a division of Hachette Book Group) picked up the story! I couldn’t be more excited about having the backing of such an established, professional organization. I think it will be worth the wait! In the meantime, enjoy being one of the first people to listen to both versions of The Songwriters.
